My name is Matthew Romagnoli. I'm a writer by study, craft, and at heart. It's about damn time I started a blog. I'm currently working on a couple dedicated, full website versions that I plan on launching shortly. In the meantime, there's this.
We'll cover some short stories both written by me and not by me. We are going to do food (because I love it). horse racing and handicapping (because I love those too), current events (because I can't keep my mouth shut), maybe some poetry, definitely some reading (because I really love it) and I already mentioned the fiction.
This is just until I go live with my dedicated blog and then my dedicated handicapping site. Who knows, maybe this will end up being its own dedicated site. I'll probably include some of my journalism work on here as a pseudo portfolio. Anyway I have a lot to say about a bunch of stuff and I love to write. So ideally, that's what this will have me doing. Writing. and for you, thinking (and maybe winning a couple bucks if you read any of the horse racing stuff).
So welcome, make yourself at home, and let's do this. It shall be fun, I promise, because if it weren't, it probably wouldn't be worth doing (or something similarly philosophical and inspiring).
